Kendall Lougheed
President
Instrumental in the success of microworks and their clients, Kendall has been actively involved in hundreds of successful network projects over his 25 year career. He has pursued his vision to build better businesses through technology while establishing a reputable name for microworks in the nation’s capital. Kendall enjoys growing organizations through joining his extensive IT knowledge with his business expertise. He has surrounded himself with a great team, and is confident they will exceed the expectations of the most demanding organizations. Kendall has developed many positive long-term relationships with our clients and looks forward to the opportunity of forming one with you.
Jill Austin
Director, Knowledge Management Practice
Jill has been working in the knowledge management area for more than two decades. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Masters of Library and Information Science, and a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science. She leads microworks’ knowledge management practice. Jill has expertise in information management and document management systems; strategic planning; business analysis; needs assessments; Web development; virtual libraries and enterprise search. She has guided numerous organizations through Microsoft SharePoint deployments, ensuring that the solution meets the knowledge management goals of the organization.
Carman M. Joynt, FCA
Chief Financial Officer
Carman is a Deloitte & Touche, Ottawa office retired partner and has over thirty years experience in the accounting profession, specializing in owner managed enterprises. While at Deloitte & Touche, he was responsible for audit, accounting and consulting services to a variety of clients in the following industries; not-for-profit, manufacturing, real estate and construction, telecommunications, printing and publishing, and high tech. He also spent one year on Executive Interchange with the Federal Government. Carman has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University and is a Chartered Accountant. Among his many professional and community activities, Carman has served as President for the Ottawa Chartered Accountants’ Association and as Chairman of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. Carman currently sits on boards for Algonquin College, The Royal Canadian Mint, the Canadian Geographic Magazine, the Royal Canadian Geographic Society Endowment Fund, and a number of private companies.
